About

Konandai to Kita Kamakura

The A Set: Departing at 7:30 a.m., this is an "early bird special" which includes a lot of dirt trail and will be run at a fast pace, or at least as fast as the leader can handle. About 11 km.

Kita Kamakura to Enoshima

The B Set: We will join co-captain Daichi, and a group of beginners, in Kita Kamakura, scheduled to depart at 9:00 a.m. This will add about 11 km of "mixed trail" which means dirt, gravel, paved trail in the hills, seaside trail and/or beach running. This section of the event is very much BETA as the two leaders haven't been on it in awhile. Things may have changed. We may get a bit LOST! Your patience and/or navigational skills will be appreciated.

Once by the seaside you may choose to run on the hard-packed wet sand near the waves (recommended), or you may choose to run on the concrete path. We may split into two groups at this point.

Once on Enoshima (island) there will be stairs and a little bit of dirt). We might split into a faster group, and a slower group at this point, depending on group size and needs.

Lunch: Somewhere in the Enoshima area, between Koshigoe Station and the island.

Polar bear swim option: You may want to bring a small (onsen) towel and a dry pair of underwear. This could take place spontaneously along the route, or after lunch on the
